Welcome to Nelson Honey & Marketing (NZ) Ltd

Established in 1973, Nelson Honey started as a small one-man apiary on the outskirts of Nelson. Over the past 40 years the company has successfully diversified from honey production to manufacturing a range of natural health and cosmetic products containg Bee Venom, Manuka Honey and Propolis.

From humble beginnings the family owned business has grown to become a significant employer in the local Motupiko community, located 50km inland from Nelson. Today the business employs over thirty staff, producing natural products for domestic and international markets and is one of the few family owned honey companies in New Zealand who control the whole process from the beehive to the jar.

Nelson Honey in conjunction with its subsidiary company Rainbow Honey Ltd, sources its raw honey products from over 5,000 bee hives located in the remote and undisturbed native forests of the South Island of New Zealand. Nelson Honey's traceability from the beehive to the end product ensures the highest level of international food standards is maintained. Nelson Honey should be your first contact for New Zealand bee products.
